Canadian rapper and vocalist Drake sustained a high-level commercial presence shortly after he hit the scene in 2006, whether with his own chart-topping releases or a long string of guest appearances on hits by the likes of Lil Wayne, Rihanna, and A$AP Rocky.

Thanks to his introspective rap style, his sensitive R&B crooning, and his gold-touch songwriting, each one of his albums — from 2011’s Take Care to 2018’s Scorpion — topped charts worldwide, and his singles, like the Grammy-winning “Hotline Bling,” and many mixtapes did as well. As his star rose, he helped others along, sponsoring the Weeknd’s early work, starting the OVO Sound label, and giving features on his records to up-and-coming acts. By the second decade of his career, Drake’s constant chart domination, his Grammy wins and nominations, and his meme-worthy cultural presence made him one of the world’s most popular musicians.

**The Spinners** are an American [rhythm and blues](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhythm_and_blues) [vocal group](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocal_group) that formed in [Ferndale, Michigan](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferndale,_Michigan), in 1954. They enjoyed a string of hit singles and albums during the 1960s and 1970s, particularly with producer [Thom Bell](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thom_Bell). The group continues to tour, with [Henry Fambrough](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Fambrough) as the only original member.

Singer/songwriter Maggie Rogers combines folk, dance, and R&B into an emotional yet crowd-pleasing sound. After self-releasing two albums of introspective, acoustic songs and falling in love with dance music while in college, her first major success came with 2016’s viral hit “Alaska.” On later releases like her 2019 debut album Heard It in a Past Life, she gave her music a pop polish while remaining true to her roots.

Growing up in Easton, Maryland, Rogers began playing harp at age seven and loved the music of Gustav Holst and Vivaldi. Meanwhile, her mom played her neo-soul divas like Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill; by the time she was in middle school, she’d added piano, guitar, and songwriting to her repertoire. While studying at St. Andrews School in Delaware, she fell in love with the banjo and folk music, and attended a Berklee School of Music program during the summer after her junior year. Rogers won the program’s songwriting contest, which spurred her to focus on writing as high school came to a close. During her senior year, she turned a broom closet into a makeshift studio and recorded what became her first album, 2012’s The Echo; Rogers included her demos as part of her application to New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. During her freshman year, she transcribed and edited the interviews that became the 2017 book Meet Me in the Bathroom while she was an intern for music journalist Lizzy Goodman. She released another folky album, 2014’s Blood Ballet, while she was a sophomore.

Tristan Casara, aka The Avener, isn’t your typical D.J/Producer/Geek. Sure, he is a master when it comes to operating his electronic equipment, sound chips and computer assisted music software, but he is, first and foremost, a musician. One who from the age of five studied classical piano at the Nice conservatory of music.

His first album « The Wanderings of the Avener » released four years ago and whose standout single « Fade Out Lines », a rework of a song by Phoebe Killdeer, became a worldwide hit (1,5 million copies sold all over the world), elevated him to star status on the electro scene. The awards and prizes soon came pouring in; certified double platinum in France, certified platinum and gold in over 10 countries, he was also crowned Best Electro Act at the French Music Awards in 2016…. He then went on to tour the most prestigious clubs, venues and festivals around the world.

He’s done work for Lana Del Rey and Bob Dylan, as well as scoring for the second opus of 50 Shades of Grey.

He is currently putting the finishing touches to his second album due to be released in the Fall, with the opening single “Beautiful” featuring Bipolar Sunshine which is out now.

Born in Houston and raised in Detroit, Lizzo adopted her moniker in 2011 and fronted Lizzo & the Larva Ink after moving to Minneapolis. Her work began to intertwine with the city’s indie scene, allowing her to work with artists like Gayngs and Doomtree. Since then, Lizzo has collaborated with a variety of creatives–Clean Bandit, Bastille, and Big Freedia, to name a few–and was named one of Forbes Magazine’s 2018 “30 Under 30”. Her top singles “Good As Hell” and “Truth Hurts” have gained over 34.5 million Spotify streams combined. In addition to headlining her own Good As Hell tour in 2017, Lizzo joined Haim on the Sister Sister Sister tour in 2018.
