360° Tour Krypta in the Temple de Saint Sava, Belgrade, Serbia
In June, we visited Belgrade, Serbia and experimented with 360° photography. This is a photo of the Krypta of the Temple. The main church space wasn’t finished yet, except for the mosaic in the rotunda. Christian also made a 360° image. It always looks funny when people using their phone to create these image. They are highly focused to chase down every blue dot in their camera, so the Pixel camera can stick together these immersive experiences.

Louis Schwartzberg’s Talk on Gratitude at TEDxSF Louie Schwartzberg is an award-winning cinematographer, director, and producer whose notable career spans more than three decades providing breathtaking imagery for feature films, television shows, documentaries and commercials. This piece includes his short film on Gratitude and Happiness. Brother David Steindl-Rast’s spoken words, Gary Malkin’s musical compositions and Louie’s cinematography make this a stunningly beautiful piece, reminding us of the precious gift of life, and the beauty all around us.

2011 European Street Art
During our trip to Europe I took snapshots of street art around the cities where we walked: Munich, Starnberg, Barcelona. Some where shot from the backseat of the car or through the window of a train or underground. Sometimes they have an added speed component and some are a little tilted or blurry. They are spare of the moment shots, altered through the High-contrast filter of the FX camera app on my HTC Evo 4g. Here is the slideshow on Flickr.

Dali’s inspirations
We visited Dali-Lala-Land a nick name I use lovingly for the area around Port Lligat, Cadaques & Figueres, about 100 miles Northeast of Barcelona. A great place to stay is Hotel Duran, a place of authentic hospitality, fantastic wait staff, and where the friendship with the owner and Dali & Gala is documemted in a very tasteful way. Pix: Cape Creus, a place already familiar from many of Dali’s paintings. Here on an overcast day, giving it an even more enigmatic atmosphere.
